dinner ideas?

I am newly married and looking for dinner ideas for myself and the hubby. lets just say he is a very meat and potatoes, pasta, chicken kinda guy. Doesnt like anything fancy at all. Can you ladies give me some ideas?
I have:
meatloaf
chicken pot pie

chicken and rice and potatoes

spaghetti and meatballs

do you have a crockpot? if so, it will be your saving grace!

one thing that my DH loves (but i limit since i almost never eat meat), is ribs. you just season them and leave them in the crockpot for like 8 hours. they always come out with that great 'fall off the bone' texture. we also make a spicy vegetarian chili, soups, mac & cheese, and all sorts of things. crockpots are amazing.

pulled pork (really easy in the slow cooker a pork tenderloin a bottle of chili sauce and a bottle of BBQ sauce on low for 3-4 hours)

Chicken and Turkey sausage are very versatile and can be added to pasta and some vegetables (caramelize them if you want). It's a great, quick dinner my DH and I make all the time.
