Dinner Time!!!!!

So I don't have school tonight and I finally have time to make something...

I am going to make either ravioli or sausage,broccli, pasta with some garlic and EVOO

I'm so sad there is no wing night tonight.

next week it's on!

Mexican Beef Brisket! It's just about done defrosting now. I got the recipe at my shower from my mom's friend - it's just a jar of taco sauce, sugar and a beer poured over the brisket, and cook for like 2 hours ... haven't made it yet, hope it's good!

I made homemade wonton soup last night - don't bother it took forever because I made the wonton skins too (what the hell is wrong with me???) and the recipe I got on cooks.com had certain things in the ing. list but never mentioned when to use them in the instructions ... so i figured out later that they should have been put in with the pork that was the filling for the wonton ... so the filling was bland dh actually liked it, and it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be - but totally not worth the hassle when a quart of the stuff is like $2 at any chinese place ....

not sure yet. But i made something similar the other night. I made penne with chorizo(but sausage can be used too) shrimp. And the sauce i made was a white wine butter sauce. It starts off the same as garlic and oil but you add a few more things to it if you want. You heat up the EVOO, throw in the garlic then and also used red onions and yellow onions, you can use any onions you want. I threw in the chorizo let it cook and then threw in the shrimp which i put a little lemon on and salt and pepper. After that you throw in a tablespoon of butter, and 1/4 cup of white wine, preferably a dry white wine. A few crushed red peppers but very little. Squeezed a little more lemon on it but thats bc i was using shrimp but also with franchaise you use lemon so gives it same effect.

The butter and white wine go great with the garlic and oil lol.

Dh now with his birthday coming up just got into a health kick lol and wants something healthy. So maybe ill make chicken shishkebobs, not sure.

I vote for the sausage, broccoli, and pasta.

I am having leftover orzo with sausage and homemade tomato sauce. Something that always tastes good reheated.
