disagreement w/ DH on song for video.....need opinions pls

I submitted my video order to Duet like 2 months ago.......I swear I went over our montage song choices w/ DH....BUT of course now 2 months later he's asking 'what song did we pick for our baby pics montage???'.....he wants to change it!!!

we picked:
100 Years Five for Fighting

he wants:
Baby Talk- Jan & Dean

I said if he doesn't like the one we originally picked, maybe we could just use:

I knew I loved you- Savage Garden

he likes the Savage Garden song way less than Five for Fighting.......SOOOOO should I call Duet and bother them to change the song to this Baby Talk song??? I never heard it in my whole life til DH mentioned it....all of a sudden he said he remembered his mom singing it to him when he was a kid (somehow I think his mom reminded him of the song though

what would you do? leave it as Five for Fighting? go w/ the Baby Talk song b/c DH likes it, or find a completely different song that we both agree on?

leave it as five for fighting! that's a great song for baby pics. I never heard of the other one. I am so surprised he even cares; mine would just look at me like 'you aren't seriously asking me that question.'

they put 100 years on the dvd slideshow of our baby pics from my shower and I bawled.

I like your choices WAAAAY better. BUT when I read the part that his mom used to sing that song to him as a baby, seems like it has sentimental value to him so maybe go with that. I agree that your songs would be ALOT better. But it is his baby pics and he should like the songs. Sorry i know frustrating but should be ok, maybe its not the greatest song, but if it has sentimental value then think of just that aspect and how much it probably means.

what really makes me laugh is I know DH will prob. watch our video like ONCE and I'll watch 500 times and his mom sang him a billion songs as a kid she's really into doo-wop, she reminded him of that song when we were over for dinner one night, to me I just think that if it meant that much to him he would've remembered it a few months back when we were making our picks.....since I agonized over song choices for months I definitely tried to get help from him w/ picking the songs....this would've been easier if he thought of this song back then.....I think I'm just going to tell him that Duet said its too late to change it b/c they already edited that part of the video....is that mean?

How about using different songs for each of your pics?
My friend used 'Isn't she lovely?' for her baby pics and then 'Bad to the Bone' for her DH and it was cute b/c it kind of showed their different personalities.

So you could use your song for your pics and the other for DH's pics, especially if it has special meaning to him & his mom.

thanks! yea I was thinking about this idea too, for our montage at the wedding that's what we did, a different song for each of us. but with our video, we were only allowed 10 pictures each for baby pics, not sure if that's too short for a song change? maybe I should call Duet to find out. thanks again!!
