Dishpan HANDS - OUCH THEY BURN!!!

Anyone suffer from this? I don't even know if it's 'dishpan' hands or if it's just from the cold. On the palms of my hands I have these little blister things and they pop and the redness spreads further! My hands are killing me!!!!

Anyone suffer from anything like this? What do you do to clear it up or atleast calm the redness down???

Ouch, that sounds painful. Sorry

I don't get this but i do get VERY, VERY dry hands and I use plain old Vaseline b4 I go to bed. Works wonders.

Shea Butter....It's amazing! Not the lotions that contain shea butter, but the actual stuff....You can get it from L'Occitane.

It's gooey and sticky, but put it on and then put socks over your hands and sleep with it!

Good Luck!

or you can buy thin white cotton gloves. Chemo used to do this to my moms hands and we would put vaseline on and she would sleep with the gloves. I actually think bath and body works sells them now.

Eucerian cream works the best, my mom gets the same kind of thing it looks like little blisters under the sking on the palms of you hands. The doctor told her to use Eucerian and it works wonders, It is a little on the expensive side though.

Vaseline intensive care advanced healing lotion is good for that! Here's another idea: Use gloves!!!!!! then, No more dishpan hands for my friend!

My poor hubby suffers from sensitivity to water/cold etc. ALL year long! His hands are constantly chapped from yardwork, etc.

I just bought him the Gold Bond Medicated Ultimate Healing lotion, and he says its helping!

Yor hands may be sweating inside the gloves causing the rash, or maybe you have a latex/rubber allergy!
