Disney Girls

DH & I decided we want to go to Disney for our 1st anniversary (although we will be going in September).
Since i've only been there once & that was when i was 9 - i need some help!

Are we better off staying on Disney property?

We arent looking to spend a lot, has anyone ever stayed at the lower priced disney hotels?

DH wants to go to Universal (I'd rather not - but i guess for 1 day, it's okay). How far is it from Disney - I'm betting we'll have to atleast rent a car for a day if we're on disney property right?

Would you ever drive to FL from here??

stay on property its worth every penny.

We have stayed Value, Delux and moderate and OUR FAVORITE is Carribbean beach resort-
The reason

Its cheap, but has the 'delux' feel.... private beaches, private pools etc.

i would always rec staying on disney property..just for the transportation alone...but even still imo its worth it

universal u would need to drive or cab..its like 20 min away

we drive from ny to florida every yr
