Disturbing~what would u have done?

Sorry if this is too heavy, but I'm very upset right now. I was outside of my office smoking and about to take my last drag and go back inside and I hear two loud slaps. So, I looked and there's a woman with a stroller across the street. I wondered if that was where the sounds came from and as I was looking, she leaned over the crying child and slapped her in the face. I was so taken back that I just went back in my office. But now I'm thinking I should've said something. What would you guys have done?

That poor baby! That's awful.

I don't know that I would have said anything, because I'm a big chicken shitt. I like to think I might have called the cops to report the incident ... maybe if she was getting into the car I might have given the license plate number ... but I can't say for sure.

Yeah, I was thinking about calling the cops, but she was walking and I figured by the time they came, she'd be gone

That's horrible!!! But honestly there's nothing you could've done. Like you said, she'd be gone by the time the cops got there.

Knowing me, I'd probably say something to her like ask her if she's insane or something. But obviously, she is and that probably wouldn't bother her in the least.

i would've just shook my head at her. That would make her think twice next time she tries to do it. I shake my head at ppl ALL THE TIME.. The look they give back to u is so satisfying
