Any of you ladies make your own invites? If so, how did they turn out? how long did it take? and, post pics if you can! People are warning me about taking on too many DIY projects, but I'm seriously thinking about it as long as it doesn't take too long and they look classy! Would love your insights!!
I designed my monogran, scanned it into my computer, purchased stock from LCIpaper.com, and finished the lay out of all components in about 4 weeks time. Then the printer I used in Manhattan completed the job in about 4 days.
Not my invites, but my church programs. I thought they came out pretty well. I bought the paper from Staples, they have very pretty program paper, and I did it myself using Micorsoft Word - 3 columns. They were fairly simple, but elegant and pretty. The best part was that it cost about $20 instead of $200
