DMV nightmare

DMV nightmare

today was my second attempt to change my name on my license

the first time there were 43 people ahead of me and this time there were 50!!!!!

i am never going to get this fuking thing changed

Was it 50 in front of you just for name changes? I find that sometimes there are letters at the DMV that go super slow and some go really fast----I think when I went they were serving like B20 and I was B50 and it only took like 15- 20 minutes to wait b.c all of the tellers were calling up letter Bs.

yup it was the B and she told me 50 people and i only saw one or two people taking care of the B's

yup i hate the DMV - i asked her what time is good to go and she told me between 8:30 & 10 tues & wed - but i will have to get there by 8:30 since i have work at 9

Which DMV did you go to? Try the Huntington one. When I went, I was literally in and out in 10 minutes. It was sooo fast. They are good cause they don't do road tests & other things there, so it is quicker.

that's the one i go to ALL the time! it is SO fast!

garden city is one of the worst to go to, its the busiest one on the island, my sister used to work there and they had the highest numbers of people that came through on a daily basis compared to all the others

get there 30 mins before they open and wait in line. If I do that I never wait inside for more than 10 mins

Go first thing in the morning and you won't have to wait very long. I've gone then and only waited a few minutes!

The most recent of my 3 trips to the DMW was a Tuesday at approximately 9:20 and it was pretty empty. We only had to wait like maybe 10 minutes before our number was called. We went to Hauppauge.

I went to Bethpage on Monday and it was a disaster! But I walked out when she told me I had to take a new pic and I had no makeup on and my hair in a bun!
