DMV question

DMV question

after we were married I changed my name on my drivers lic. but i didnt realize and they didnt tell me to change it on my registration as well.

now 5 months later.. i still need to do it. did this happen to anyone else? do i have to go back to DMV or can i just mail something in. I have the form but im so confused.. its saying they need my title to my car. But if i would have just done it in the first place when i changed my DL i wouldnt have needed that.

im so annoyed.. changing my name has become such a pricess.. between, work, credit cards, DMV, and still have to do my passport... im regretting doing it (not really - but you know what i mean)

Yes you have to go there with your title. Even if you did it when you did your license they would have needed your title. In order to change your registration they need to change the name on your title. I am going through it now -- only because I couldn't find my title at first. So now I changed my license and have to go back next week with my title and have that and the registration taken care so we can finally go on a joint drivers insurance policy!
