Do I have issues?

Am I the only one that checks every corner in the shower for spiders before entering? I have had a spider drop in on me before and have been permanantly traumatized and cannot get in unless every nook and cranny has been inspected !! Ok I do have issues

Nope! I too did this for two months after my incident. One late night (really early morning) I went to take a shower after a long night of dancing & drinking with the hubs....little did I know that I was not alone.

Yes me too. I actually did it last night for company coming for dinner tonight lol. I suck em up w the vaccuum.

I hate them and will squish them at any opportunity. I got a nasty spider bite years ago and it traumatized me.
DH digs spiders tho and will scoop them out and place em outside. So I don't usually call him for an assist. I didn't know I was marrying a Buddhist...

I do check the shower...but I always do a once-over in our bedroom. For some reason there are always spiders in it! There were 2 in there the other night. The best part is...DH works nights so I usually kill the bugs!

not only do i check before getting in the shower - i do what's called my nightly bug check every single night before bed. i CANNOT go to bed without making sure that no bugs will be dropping down on me during the night...

I am so glad you are crazy like me.. I check my car every morning bc I have had spiders INSIDE my car while I am driving and I am petrified that I am going to crash one day..

And I have gotten worse after having to go to the ER a few weeks ago with what they think was a spider bite that got infected and swelled to the size of a softball on the back of my thigh..

I never do this, but maybe i should considering i have had some pretty bad spider bites. SO bad that i had a big fever, my arm became numb and turned black and blue and had to go to the doctor ASAP. HAd to get a shot and take 7-10 pills a day for 2 weeks. And its not the only time it happened.

I am not really afraid of bugs though so maybe thats why. I am usually the one who will kill them when someone else is screaming and afraid to do so. And its funny bc alot of guys are like this, i remember dating a guy and he freaked out and i looked at him like 'are you serious' and just killed it for him.

I dont know how these spiders always bite me, i never see them ahead of time and dont see them in the house.

when I was a kid I got a Staph infection from a bite and 2 yrs ago my daughter got bit and got Granuloma Anulare ( I wont even get into what that is

You're not alone..I check for crickets. I actually drowned one this morning. Well Jiminy, get out of my shower and you won't be dead.

i was never scared of bugs (in fact, i'd play with them) until i saw the movie arachnaphobia as a kid. i was told it was a comedy... well, maybe for adults but i'm still scared of spiders now!

im not scared of other bugs, or mice or other things people screech about but spiders freak me out

I had a palmetto bug crawl on me in the shower in SC, I had soap in my eye so it took me a second to figure out why I had an itch, i freaked the F*%# out like it was no ones business!!!! I ALWAYS check for bugs now!!!!!

For those that dont know what Palmetto Bugs are they are HUGE cockroach looking bugs, totally normal to find them EVERYWHERE down south.
