Do u think this is tacky?

We went to a wedding a month b4 ours. Today we got a thank u in the mail it was preprinted !!!! (with a picture also.) I went out of my way to thank each guest by hand writting a thank you note... am I crazy... or what?

We got one like that too. . . but the bride also wrote something specific to the two of us, so I thought it was ok.

I so wanted to take the easy way out and print something from my computer....but I did the proper thing and hand wrote them....it was a chore...but it's done.

So...yes, I think it's tacky

wow - that's really BAD! Hand writing your TY's is a MUST listed in just about every single wedding ettiquete (sp?) book on the market! I think it's pretty tacky to not even sign your name yourself at least! I had so much fun writing out my thank you cards after the wedding - for me it was a personal chance to further show our gratitude to our guests for sharing such an important day. I know my wedding wouldn't have been the same without our awesome guests - the LEAST we owe them is a nice heartfelt thank you! Boo to that bride and groom for not being a little more considerate :(

Every etiquette guide I know of says to handwrite wedding thank-yous. I guess if I had a particularly wicked case of carpal tunnel syndrome, I probably wouldn't handwrite, but otherwise...
