Do you and DH ever call in 'sick'

I haven't been on the boards too much lately b/c I am sooooooooooooooooo loving this whole marriage thing. DH was lazy yesterday and called in sick so I did too. We had a great lazy day together and it felt so good.

Anyone else take their 'days off' with DH or would you rather spend them alone and relax alone?

I would love to, but right now is my busy season at work.

It would be oh so much fun to sit back and relax with hubby.

I do like to take some time for 'me' at times as well.

My DH could be on his death-bed and still not call in sick!!! He has an INCREDIBLE work ethic...sometimes to good!

I would love to, but after being away for 3 weeks on my honeymoon....I better get my butt into work everyday! lol!

We do it every once in a while. Sometimes it is great but other times we get on each others nerves. It really depends. But even though we get on each others nerves we will still call in sick together the next time..lol.

My DH too, could be on his death bed and he would go in. It is even hard for me to get him to take a vacation day!! Guess I am just lucking he took off for the wedding...hehehe!

We both try not to call in sick unless we really are.
Last time I called in sick, he did too to stay with me.
I LOVED it.

We have called in sick together in the past. But our bosses figure it out, but they don't say anything. (we work for the same company, different buildings)
We love the days we play hookey.

I would call in all the time if I could. DH on the other hand has an amazing work ethic and he hates to stay home. I on the otherhand take every opportunity I can! Feels like another sore throat coming on...cough, cough!

hubby has his own business, so he can whenever. But Im NOT tenure yet, so I only call in if Im on my deathbed.

Oh my Gosh, after writing the above and I did not say a thing to my husband. He came home tonight and told me he took off Thursday and Friday! By birthday is Friday, but I don't think he took it off for me, I think to get the house done...either way he took off....Watch for the lightening bolt....

My FH never takes off, and my son and I have been sick so much this year I can't take any more 'fake' time off

We both have pretty crazy work ethics- but lately we have been running ragged and we NEVER, EVER call in sick- so we are both planning to take a sickie Monday and I CAN'T WAIT>

We've both taken sick days from the job. It's hard because we work at same place. But, we love evey moment of it.

When I was still working F/T, even a sick day wasn't 'restful'....my boss would call me all day to ask me questions, and ask me to check email/voicemail, etc. It wasn't even worth it to stay home...I was better off going into the office looking and feeling awful - and then having them send me home! It was the only way I could be left 'alone!'

That's why I never bothered to have any 'pretend' sick days.

When I call in it's usually b/c I NEED the mental health day and want to be home alone. Every once in a while we call in sick together but not frequently at all.

Scott and I have called in sick together before but it has been a super long time since I now work from home full-time and DH works from home once or twice a week. We also spend almost all weekend together. But I think it is very romantic to play 'hookie' for the day.

My DH's work schedule usually is too busy. I wish we can do it more, we have done it 2x in 3 yrs. My DH's owrk ethics are incredible.

I could never call in sick. I get assigned to different jobs and if I called in they wouldnt be able to fill them. My husband gets alot of time off so he can all in whenever.

Yes, on Friday DH and I were really sick. I was recovering from a bad case of stomach virus and DH got it from me, except he got the flu. We're both better today.
