John & I have our set sides we always sleep on.
Him next to the alarm clock because he gets up earlier, also because i'd turn it off & go back to sleep!

YES, and I proved to him just this week that I must sleep on the right side. I sleep in the funniest position (one leg straight, the other leg curled up into my chest), so I need to be on the right side.

Hubby claims he needs to sleep on the right side because he sleeps better there. He immediatley moves to my side of the bed as soon as I get up in the morning.

But while on vacation this past week, he made me sleep on the left side and I didn't sleep at all....

We have set sides. I saw a comedian once that talked about this in his act and I was hysterical because this is true for us, too. DH has the clock and telephone on his side. I am closer to the light.
Even when we sleep in hotels we tend to stick to the same side of the bed!

I can't even imagine sleeping on DH's side, I like mine!! Even when we go away, I think it's pretty set. Sometimes I don't even go over to 'his' side of the room, since I'm scared about what I'll find (clothes all over the floor, etc)

Yep! We have set sides too. Looking at the bed, I'm on the left. Even when we go away somewhere, those are our sides. It's just easier to put my head on his shoulder if I'm on that side.

He says he can't put the moves on me if I'm on his 'bad' side.

Yup and I hate my side!!!! JennRenne, like you, I'm on the right and Mr. Bedhog (aka my hubby ) is on the left, although it's more like he's ALL OVER the bed and I just have enough space to sleep. God forbid I turn over, I'll end up on the floor!!

I would prefer the other side, but that's where the clock is and like you Jennbaby, he gets up first and I'm one to hit snooze for about an hour before I get up!! But as soon as he leaves, I go diagonal and fall into a coma!!

Yep, we have our seperate sides but every once in a while,we ask each other if its ok to switch.

Yep -both have our sides. Facing the bed I am the left and he is the right. We must always sleep on the right side or we don't sleep well even at a hotel or on vacation. As soon as I get up in the morning though, DH sleeps on my sied with my pillow and he says it is his best sleep (I think he likes the whole bed to himself).

When we first moved to our latest apartment, I wanted him to be on my side (near drafty window) but we tried it and neither of us could sleep.

oh dear yes! And we stick to it whatever bed we are in. He is a HOG. gets the side nearest the TV, AND the alarm clock! I get up earlier. This means - the long walk AROUND the bed to snooze EVERY 10 minutes!

We def. have sides, I am closer to the door, he the windows. We each have our own alarm clock and lamps - I couldnt deal with just one alarm clock. (and the phone is on another table in the room. I like my side - but I am known to be a cover hog. We have small tv but rarely watch tv in bed...
