yes, I have it through work though. It's through UNUM...I have $100k on me and $50k on him. (where I work, the max I could get on him was $50)

It costs me less than $2 per week.

Yes.. it is part of my benefits package at work.. it is with Transamerica.

Yes, we both have life insurance for each other. We both have group through work and individual policies we own. I am a CFP and would be happy to help you with any questions you have regarding life insurance or any other planning. FM if you have any questions.

We have a policy on DH. It's Universal, which our CFP explained as between term and whole. We got ours through Manulife which is now merged with John Hancock.

We were going to get a policy on me as well, but pregnancy is considered to be a health condition that they won't cover. After the baby's born, we'll decide if we want to add me or not.

No. Don't have the funds for it. I'm unemployed and on a very tight budget.

Pregnancy should NOT be a reason that you wouldn't get insurance. What insurance companies do is put an exception in the policy regarding childbirth and complications. Double check with your agent.

We both have whole life policies. Only about $10,000 - enough to cover funeral and expenses. We pay roughly $165 a year for his and $145 a year for mine.

We have group and individual. Enough to cover the mortgage + if one of us dies. Also, we have individual disability policies in case we are disabled and can't work.

The life insurance is 15 year term.

I have $400K on me and $250K on him. We want to be able to pay off the mortgage is something happens to one of us. We will rethink the numbers after we have kids.

I had my through work. DH did not have any so we recently got him some through SBLI.
