We both work in the city but I go in a bit earlier than DH and leave a bit later so we don't really commute together all that often.

Yup, sure do. We work a couple of blocks away from each other so every opportunity I get, I jump in the car with him. Anything to avoid the subway!!!

We do but we're on different shifts so we can't commute together. We get to on rare occaisons tho, like last month when we took a work-sponsored CPR class together.

We work 2 blocks apart from each other in Manhattan. We take the same train the AM and walk most of the way together.
At night, it's 50/50 whether we leave at the same time, so we don't always make the same train home. Now that DH is in grad school 2 nights a week, I don't commute with him home on those days either -- unless I work really late.

I work in downtown Manhattan and DH works in Downtown Brooklyn. We can ride the same train to work, so we commute together almost the whole way, but then I get off a few stops before him.
We occasionally ride together on the way home, but that's the exception.

we work in the same building..... (we met at work, I moved to a diff job soon afterwards, and I returned to the same building last year).
heck, we even help each other with experiments from time to time

actually, he works in NYC, I'm in Uniondale. We leave the house together at 7:15am and his train station is right on my block & his train comes around the same time I have to be at work. Same with coming home.. his train arrives as I pass the station. So we have a 14 minute commute together every day.

DH drives to work (in Brooklyn) and I take an express bus too NYC. We dont commute together - we just get ready together!!

I like to get to work on time and leave on time...him on the other hand is getting out of bed when I'm leaving the house and staying till after 6 most nights

Nope. I work abotu 15 minutes from home. DH works in CT and some mornings he has to be there by 6:00am (he's a recruiter for the Army right now and has to do physical trianing with them in the AM). So, we never commute together.
