I usually cook, but hubby cooks too-if he gets home first, he'll start dinner, then I'll finish it when I get in. Depending on the schedule If I'm tired, he'll cook up something, on the weekends I cook dinners. But yes, sometimes it's annoying to think about what to make everynight when you're tired from work and just want to get home and do something quick.
That's where the crock pot comes in! Dump everything in - in the morning, turn it on, go to work, come home...dinner is served!

Re: Do you cook for your husband or does he cook for you?
He usually does most of the cooking and is very good at it too. We are so busy during the week though, that he'll only cook on a Wednesday when he's home. Every other night we fend for ourselves unless we are at one of the parents house for dinner.I like to cook to, but never have the time to do it. I make a mean sauce though!

I always have to cook because I get home at 4:30 and he gets home around 7- 7:30. He CAN cook, but it's just easier for me to. But he'll cook on the weekends. He does the cleaning.

We both cook... usually whoever gets home first cooks. I think he's the better cook though and I don't exactly have a huge repertoire of recipes... I never know what to make!

Re: Do you cook for your husband or does he cook for you?
DH can cook, it is just that I like to trim my meat, and he is not for that at all. So I try and beat him to the chicken.

Re: Do you cook for your husband or does he cook for you?
He does most of the cooking. I only cook when I'm not in school, and even then only maybe twice a week. That's about 30 times a year, which is more than enough for me. He's much better at it than I am anyway.

Re: Do you cook for your husband or does he cook for you?
We both cook together, when we actually are home to cook. Two nights a week, I hop off the train to go teach my night job and since my mom and DH and I all teach at the same place, my mom brings us sandwiches.
Two nights a week, DH is in grad school, so I eat with my parents (one town over)
The weekends, we cook together.

We take turns cooking. But whoever doesn't cook that day, does the dishes.

Re: Do you cook for your husband or does he cook for you?
I get home way before him so I usually do the cooking. But he cooks for me now and then. He's not completely helpless, and he does do the dishes.Welcome New Vendors
