usually on weeknights we just take our dog for a short walk, but on the weekend we go biking or walking in one of the state parks. I hope its nice out this weekend!

We always do if hubby gets home before I'm ready for bed!!
We also ride our bikes around the beighborhood, and will sometimes brave the narrow, winding roads and bike over to Planting Fields or up to the beaches in Bayville.
Oh, wanted to add that we don't always just walk in the summer. It's sort of a tradition with us to finish shoveling the snow and take a walk in the snow while it's still coming down. Then we head home for some hot chocolate and the fire place and ....

we sure do, we usually walk the length of our development and back. Its a good 25 minute walk. I remember some nights last year we even got stuck in the rain on the way back

Since we just moved, we've been so busy. But, in the last few weeks (on the nights were weather has permitted) we have been strolling Paul around the block to the playground for a quick ride on the swings and then we do a looooong lap around our development. It's nice, and it gets the baby sleepy just in time to go home!

We like to go to Cedar Beach in Mt. Sinai and walk along the beach in the summer time. We also lik eto fish off the dock
We like to take Arnold for walks around the neighborhood. We don't do it often enough though, because of Patrick's work hours.

We try to. We like to go to Jones Beach and stroll the Boardwalk. It's so close to us, maybe a 7 minute drive, that neither of us mind getting in the car to drive there.
We also try to bike together when the weather is nice on the weekends. He's able to go more during the week since he works from home.

I love to, but DH gets home too late in the evenings. I wouldn't be comfortable walking alone. On the weekends we enjoy bike riding together, especially through the gorgeous areas of Old Westbury! That's my favorite place since it's more quiet, shaded with beautiful scenery

Usually on the weekends, we take a bottle of wine and go down to the beach, watch the sun set.

Jennbaby - we sometimes do the same thing. It's probably the only time we're not killing each other.
Sassy - I'm totally with you re: the rain. Maybe Fred Astaire was into it, but I'm not down with wandering around, all clammy and gross!

We do this too occasionally. He bought me a bicycle for me birthday...so when the weather gets nicer, we plan to go bike riding. (that's if I still remember how to ride one. )

We love taking walks in the summer. We would always take walks around our neighborhood and look at houses and wish on eof them were ours and what we do.
