I don't mean to but my day is so slow and to be honest, these people are quite entertaining. Some if it's better than a soap opera

I don't have a choice, we can all hear what everyone is saying. I try to tune it out, sometimes I'm just not successful.

Same here, that's why I hate when I need to make phone calls during the day. It's so hard not to hear others conversations. Exactly...I try to tune it out too.

it can be hard not too here. But I don't really understand what they are talking about most of the time!

Unfortunately you can hear what everyone is saying in my office unless the attorneys close their door...otherwise I can hear the ones that are by my desk.

I can't help but not overhear, everyone is so damm loud around here that I am constantly shutting my door .

Only if there is going on do I bother to listen

God yes! And sometimes I wish I didn't! The guy across from me's mother is in an assisted living home and he is always talking to her about diarrhea (sp?) and whatnot! It's nauseating!

I can't help it either - it is just me and my boss here and even with the cubes we put up, it's no more private. I have to go outside to call drs, tax people, etc. But my boss doesn't always - and last year, he almost got a divorce I think - he was talking to friends, family allll the time about problems with his wife, and how they were going to a counselor, etc, how he told her if she has to leave to find herself or whatever that's ok, blah blah. I felt soooo bad for him but couldn't ever let on that I knew, etc. He stopped talking about it a bit and then I heard him tell people it was better, they were working it out.

I cant bc the offices are far away from each other. So.... does anyone want to share any of the interesting stories they have heard today?? Lets make the day go faster.

Well let's see, nothing too terribly interesting today but in the past few weeks: the father and son team that own this company almost got into a fist fight and injurred a female coworker that tried to break it up. Our perv of an office manager got too close to one of my friends and she said she felt his 'man parts'. And the girl next to me is still fighting with her ex boyfriend about who gets the house because she needs a washing machine and is very close to turning her dirty underwear inside out
