I had my belly button ring for about 3 years and then it got infected and started to hurt so i took it out. Its been out for about 7 years and i still have the hole.

I had one.....but then we went to Puerto Vallarta and it got infected while I was there, so I had to take it out. I won't get it done again though.....hurt TOO much!

Yup.....had it done when I was 15, then it got so badly infected that I couldn't get it out so I went to my doctor who couldn't get it out, who then sent me to the ER to get it out
I then re-pierced it when I was 21, and 6 years later I still have it! No infections this time...even Though I did thoroughly enjoy squeezing it and watching the infected puss ooze out!
