DO you love all of your Proofs?

Do you like the way you look in all of your pictures?

Most of the pics I LOVE but some of them I totally look like a different person based on camera angle...anyone else brave enough to confess lol

I photograph terribly, so I hate looking at myself in pictures......but i love most of them (especially the ones that i'm not in )

There are plenty that I dont like. That was part of the reason why I wanted a photographer that took a very high number of shots. Im very critical of all photographs so I knew I needed a lot to be happy.

Okay in this area i feel like i am going to cry...i just went to my mom's tonight to see themall again and my Dad was like these are not that good and i am still so upset. First off i have about 400 proofs..too little in my opinion. I don't have a picture of my first dance (just an up close picture of me and my husband which actually could be any dance), i don't have one of any family shots, he took two table shots, the ones he did make people pose for everyone looks uncomfortable....I had a maid and maton of honor and he did not get one picture with all three of us...he got ONE with husband and best man where they posed....

I am never a biatch....but i really feel like being one when i go there...we spent so much money and I really feel like I got screwed....

I have 400 Proofs and I am very happy! Erick took every shot I could have wanted except a shot of our hands with rings close up (but I can see our rings every day and I also have pictures of the ring exchange so no biggie) and also I would have loved a few closer shots of the mass but in all honesty I loved that he wasen't in the way and I was able to remember them first hand since I had a clear shot of DH and I walked up the aisle.

I wish my hair color was better my hair stylist had a miscarriage right around the time of our wedding and she OVERhighlighted my hair.. but no one notices that but me in our family so who cares....

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that! Don't worry about being a biatch - you deserve your money's worth. I would discuss your issues with the photographer, because you never know what they might do for you to make it up to you. Your wedding is over so what's done is done, but you're not happy and that's not right....

I had about 400 proofs and I wish there were more. I like the way I look in most pictures, but some pictures I was like, what was he thinking taking that picture! (there's this picture of me with a serious face and I told him that I look pissed off when I don't smile. Sure enough I look extremely pissed off in that picture! It's actually pretty funny....)

I love all my proofs but I just wish that my photographer might of taken two shots of certain pictures since some of the shots that I love I have my eyes closed.

This could be my story - did we have the same photographer? I am sooo disappointed in my pictures - I have none of my family (I only have 6 people in my entire family) No table pictures, none of my brother and his wife. You would think my Dh's family were the only ones there. He also took a lot of shots outside, which I kept telling him I wanted to go back inside - it was very windy and bright out - My hair was blown - our eyes are squinty - they look terrible.
It was so hard for me to pick pictures for my album let alone enlarge them.

I love most of our (1k +) pictures. We're having a difficult time choosing a TY picture as my husband wants a more traditional pic (and there aren't that many to choose from since I didn't want traditional photography) and I want something a little different in b&w.

That's the other thing...almost 70% of our pics are in b&w and my DH is so upset that 1) I requested that and 2) that the photographer didn't remind me that any color pic can be turned into b&w. In planning mode, I wasn't thinking straight, apparently. But it was exactly what I wanted - more b&w than color. Also, our ceremony started much later than the 20min I origninally thought and we lost daylight...so the 'formal' BP pics are a little disappointing.

But all in all, I am very pleased.

I love the way my pictures came out except now I wish he did different shot and creative ones also!!!

Well, I guess I have 2 answers:

Yes, I love the majority of my proofs.

BUT, I had the bridesmaid from hell. I have 3 proofs with her middle finger up. I have a few of her rolling her eyes. And, she is not smiling in my photos- except for a couple, isolated photos that were not part of the 'bridal party' shots. She's with her immediate family and those are the only ones that she looks like a normal human being in.

I have shown a small proof book to some of my clients and THEY have commented that it looks like one of the bridesmaids must have been feeling sick or something...

But, I do remember my photographer lecturing 'the bridal party' (but really HER) about the need for looking happy in photos. So, in no way was any of this his fault.
