Do You Miss Wedding Planning?

Do You Miss Wedding Planning?

I kinda do, now that's it's spring I just remember what I was doing a year ago...having my shower, buying all the pretty accessories (purses, jewelry, card box, etc). I wish I could do it all over again with less stress, I was so worried over every little thing and for the most part everything turned out fine.

There are definetly times that I miss wedding planning, especially when I see all of the bridal magazines.

Yeah, bridal magazines do that for me too! I bought so many, and really didn't use them because I found most of my ideas on the internet. I ended up giving a big box to my future SIL since she just got engaged.

I totally feel this way now for the exact same reason- weather is getting warmer and I'm remembering all the stuff I was doing this time of year. I think I did my invitations over Spring Break last year- and here I am on spring break and no invites to put together.

Just a little wedding nostalgia....and the fact that my album is due to come soon is adding to the mix too!

Plus I've had like 3 requests for help with the table numbers....guess it's a busy time for all brides! I miss that!

But I'm excited about coming up on a 1 year anniversary!!

Sometimes I do, but not the stress of it.
I think now what I would have done differently, especially to try to save a little more money.

A friend's daughter is getting married this August, having the ceremony in Aruba (yes, we are going - can't wait) and then having a reception at the end of the month. My friend has already asked for my help, so I'm coming up with ideas for DIY CP's and invites. This site definitely helps.

Not at all hahaha. It was such a stressful time for us because we had such a huge guest list and so many family demands. We still have to do our TY cards, even though it's a teensy bit late...but we feel like we still having wedding stuff hanging over our heads until we finish the TY's.

Usually I do not miss it but yesterday I was looking at ring settings with my sister (she is probably getting engaged within the next two months) and then I missed it.

Yeah I miss it a lot. I remember at this time last year all the excitement & anticipation so I totally miss that. I didn't mind the planning either, I enjoyed it for the most part so I miss that too.
Every time I see a white limo or something else that reminds me of a wedding, I smile but at the same time I get a little sad feeling too.

EXACTLY! We were very surprised and upset immediate family members were doing things that cost us money when we were already stretching our wallets. Then you have the wedding to do list which always made me & & .

I haven't had a chance to miss it.
At first, I'd begun to, and then my best friend got engaged. I'm pretty much organizing the entire wedding as if it were my own and having a blast with it!
