No. Truth over tradition. Always.... That's just me, I know and like a lot of folks who prefer the 'traditional' route...

It's odd with me... I always thought that;s how I am... however I always seem to take the traditional route with things.

I always thought I was 'artsy' and 'different'

but in actuality I'm really not and kinda plain..

Maybe I should embrace it.

To thine own self be true, ya know!!! There's nothing 'wrong' with either one, as one as it 'feels' right!!! Some traditions I just find kind of stifling, like the emotional equivalent of strangulation (not all, but some).
Likewise, I wouldn't want to be anti-tradition just for the sake of being 'different' and 'edgy'; people like that just annoy the carp outta me...

actually I just pulled the phrase out of my arse and Colette went with it.

But really what tradition vs truth is referring to religion... kind of like a science vs faith issue.

I just got caught up in 'ask a question pa looza' and it just came rambling out

And it scares me to no end that I understood your arse question right off the bat.here's an analogy: Tradition: 2 people should be married before a baby, always.
Truth:sometimes its BETTER to have 1 parent only. Or unmarried parents.
HTH!!!

Well, now that I understand the question, its a lot more interesting to me ....

I think I lean more towards truth, with a smattering of tradition for flavor.

You don't really want to know MY theories on evolution, they're whacked!

I agree completely with Colette's analogy

I do tend to be traditional with a lot of things, but every situation is different so I do follow truth as well. It really depends, every rule has it's exceptions.

I agree. I'm in the middle I guess.
