Do you think anyone will wear your dress?

Do you think anyone will wear your dress?

We have 2 teenage nieces, I would love for one of them to want to wear it someday. My niece lives upstate & they don't do LI weddings-so maybe borrowing will be a good idea for her. She's only 16 now.
My Dress has been hanging in it's bag in our room for 2 months, I'm planning to take it be preserved this week. I just hope it won't spend the next 50 years in my attic in a box
Can you tell I'm a little PMS-y?

When we have our first born I am turning my train into our baby's Christening gown and will fly down the priest who did our wedding to whatever Air Force Base we are at (if we are able too)

I know, I would hate to see my dress go to waste too ... I loved my dress!

Since I can't bring myself to sell my dress and who knows if I will be able to cut it up for my children's christening gown, I got it preserved. I would love the thought of my daughter to wear it one day, but i'm logical and know that she'll probably want her own and won't like mine ... the way I was with my mom's dress.

I think your offer to give it to your niece is so sweet. I would get it preserved and let her know that she can wear it if she'd like to ... that you would give her your dress and then let her decide. But either way, preserve it, so that when/if she wears it, it will look brand new!

Would have loved to have worn my mom's dress to bad when she was my age and got married she was about 6 inches shorter then me and that was 30 years ago.. so no fixing that

If we ever decide to ever have children, who to tell if they will even want to wear my dress, to them it might be old fashioned I am donating it to charity. I should have rented a dress, I am so not sentimental

My friends and I have been joking around about a birdal ball. Come one come all in your best wedding attire (bridal gowns, bridesmaid gowns, tuxes) to a formal dinner dance.

I don't know if it will ever happen but we have been talking about it for a few months now.

I need to do something with mine. Either sell or donate it or something. I don't think anyone will wear it. I mean I didn't even think to wear my mom's dress. I guess I am not sentimental either.

My train will be made into a Christianing gown, and if someday my daughter or granddaughter want to use my gown or part of it that would be great.
