i now put everything in the freezer!

Im HORRIBLY wasteful. I use wads and wads of toilet paper. Ill grab a whole paper towel just to wipe my nose. I throw tons of food away. Its pretty bad!

did you girls see Oprah yesterday?

it was CRAZY the amount of stuff one of the families wasted ... they went through a full roll of papertowels every day, and would throw out perfectly good food just so they could go food shopping?!

i don't think we are that wasteful. we do use paper plates & plastic cups .... especially since i can't really wash too many dishes .... and we do buy water, but we buy the big jugs for the fridge (not the individual bottles) .... and we're not that good about eating leftovers .... i know we could be much better than we are, but i felt pretty good after watching those families on Oprah!

I think I can be but trying to make an effort not to be....I've been trying to be more green:) I now religiously bring my canvas bags to the grocery store so I don't throw out 7 or so plastic ones.
I also now freeze my meats as soon as I get them b/c I've had one too many go bad on me.
And our recent cesspool problems have made me more conscious of how much TP I use.

I dont think im that wasteful but i do tend to forget about cooking frozen fish, and then am forced to trash it. I need to be more attentive about what i buy and put in my fridge though, thats for sure.

Yes without a doubt

I definitely haven't 'gone green' yet... so I do think that I can be wasteful in some ways.

I go through a LOT of paper towels! But on the other hand, we bring our own bags to the grocery store... so that evens out right?

I try not to be wasteful, but my bad habit is paper towels. I now buy the Bounty ones that are half sheets.
DH drinks bottled water, but we buy the big 2.5 gallon jug that sits in the fridge. I try not to run the water unnessarily and turn off the lights when not in the room. Trying to get DH to at least turn off the monitor when he leaves the computer.
We do eat leftovers, makes it easier for me than having to cook a full meal every night.

Forgot to add, that I do use my own bags at the grocery store. Love the ones that Waldbaums has, and keep the giant Ikea blue bags in my car for bulky stuff.
