I recently started using wrinkle creams because I cannot stand the tiny creases that are popping everywhere (too many years sunbathing and in tanning beds)
But I feel like I can take control now...so let me know if you have any suggestions...thx!

Re: Do you use an eye cream?
I am really bad with creams. I need to start taking better care of my skin. I go to bed a lot of the time without washing it and then I don't put a night cream on. I use hope in a jar in the daytime - not sure if I like it yet though - and I have roc age diminishing night cream. I use qtips to remove eye makeup sometimes and I know that's bad because the skin there is so thin, qtips can reallt damage it and cause wrinkles ... I don't see wrinkes yet but I do see lots of sun discoloration .... but I did buy a sunscreen (50 SPF!) and I'd be interested in knowing what eye creams are good (but affordable) so that I can start!!

I'm a bit of a product junkie, a friend of mine works selling products to plastic surgeons so she always gets samples of things to try...but the best eye cream I've tried is Patricia Wexler eye cream...you can get it at Bath and Body works

Re: Do you use an eye cream?
I use two eye creams - one for day and one for night - both from Kiehls.
Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado
Imperiale Repairateur Moisturizing Eye Balm
They are amazing and have helped to reduce the fine lines and darkness underneath my eyes.

What did it do for you? How did it help?
Do you put eye creams just under the eye and on the crow's feet area, or on the lid too?

Re: Do you use an eye cream?
i know it's mucho mula, but i have heard amazing AMAZING things about the Stri-vectin line. i'm sure there are plenty of good products out there & u just have to find what works for you...
MDF anti-oxident eye creme is also great...but to me it works more for prevention, not decreasing what's already there...Stri-vectin i know is gauranteed to do both. It had better work considering the price! lol.
here's the strivectin website so u can read up a little...they also sell it at Macy's, Ulta, etc.
Why do qtips cause wrinles? I've never heard that!!!!
Also do any of those products u listed contain retinol or retin A? My wrinkle creams contain that ingredient and I have heard from a lot of people that is key.

Well, the area is very thin -- and the tugging of a qtip can damage it and maybe cause wrinkles. I try to use cotton balls but the qtip is sooooo easy.

Re: Do you use an eye cream?
I don't use a specific 'eye cream' but I use face cream everyday. I use the Clinique 3 step system. The moisturizer from Clinique is the only one I like that doesn't dry my face out after a few hours.
My mom once helped a woman at her court, and she saw that the woman was like 60 and she said that she really didn't look a day over 40. She asked the woman what her 'secret' was and the woman said that she uses cold cream every night.
I love cold cream, and I should probably start using it around my eyes as well. I just think as long as you keep your face moisturized you should also be fine. :)

I use cold cream to take my eye makeup off, is it used as a moisturizing cream as well or eye cream?

Re: Do you use an eye cream?
I have heard that women use it for moisturizing. You can use it for both.
Back in the day of face painting and concert going, I used it to remove paint from my face, and It worked so well. I would use it now for makeup removal or moisturizing. :)

I've used the Kiehls with the avocado and it's really nice. A lot of them seem to run into my eyes and make my eyes tear a lot. Maybe I put too much on, but the Kiehls didn't seem to bother me as much.

I've never purchased this but I know they sell it in costco, and its still expensive but you get two bottles of it. I also heard great things about it as well.
