Re: Do you wash your car or let the car wash do it?
well, most of the time it's the car wash... but once in a while we do them ourselves....
It's much easier to avoid streaks in the shade, and on a car with a cool motor, and only wash and rinse one segment at a time... we just use a dilute dish liquid solution, and windex the windows. Once a year, we do a hand wax thing with a long-wearing product, so we can UV protect the paint (important for our black cars!), and minimize salt damage...

def the car wash. I cant be bothered doing it. It takes 2 minutes to go through a car wash, but 30 minutes to wash it yourself. Not worth the time IMO because its probably just going to get dirty again in a day or two.

I do the rims on my truck. And if I have enough in me, I wash it myself. Otherwise, my husband takes it to the car wash.
