I was just reading how Nicole Kidman had her baby. IM SO CONFUSED why when she and Tom were together the tabloids would say they couldnt have kids together. Some of them even blamed it on Nicole being infertile. They even adopted two kids. So why is it that now theyre both spitting kids out and no one finds it strange BUT ME??!!

just a wild thought but maybe scientology didnt believe in infertility treatments as a means of trying to get pregnant thats why at the time she didnt ?? You know they have unusual ways of thinking....

my coworker is convinced nicole wasnt preggo cuz her belly barely grew. at 6 months she didnt even look preggo. she swears it was all fake and the babys adopted.

yea, i was thinking its a possibility cause you know from the media and interviews hes very anti certain drugs, so maybe he feels against using artifical means, you never know!

I'm not sure how true this is, but I remember hearing/reading that she had a miscarriage around the time he shocked her with divorce papers.

I wonder if stress had something to do with it also - maybe she was totally stressed out while with Tom and that factored into it? Like mentioned above, infertility is very complex though so there are so many reasons why.

you're right Yesi---she said in a few interviews she miscarred and after that they divorced.

i think Amor is onto something with the whole idea of not being able to use infertility treatments before when she was with TOm

but yes I find it strange that the both are having kids now w/out each other.

I know in some cases, its not a good idea for couples to procreate together. Like genetic disorders. They both could be carriers of some kind of disorder, making the chances of having a child with a disorder very high. But their new partners may not be. Making it safer for them to have children. It does happen.
I really don't read the star magazines. You never know if any of its really true or not. Remember, there is a lot of life that goes on, that theses people to don't know about. They often twist things up.

Well its strange but I know a couple (friends of the family forever) they were married for about 8 years - couldn't have kids - tried everything under the sun. THey divorce, she gets knocked up after a one night stand, has her baby and then gets knocked up again with a second child & her x husband gets remarried and has 2 kids like boom.
So I think the chemistry between two people also has something to do with it.

See, I thought it was that he was the one who wasn't able to have children and then when she became PG, he thought she cheated and that's when he filed for divorce. They did a paternity test and it was in fact his baby.

Does anyone remember this version or is this the soap opera I created in my head??

This is what I always thought and I was confused about him & Katie having Suri since he was the one that was not supposed to be able to have children.

Thats very true. A woman I use to work with, had three miscarriages. Back to back, one a still born. The man she was with was a JERK! they got a divorce, she moved on and adopted three kids. Around the time when her kids were in their early teens to late elementary ages, she remarried and had three healthy live births!
