Does anyone else not remember?

I was talking to a girl at work who got married a few weeks ago, and I was telling her I still don't remember my most of my wedding day, I remember everything up to putting on my dress, but after that I don't remember much, and wasn't even drinking. I can't wait to get my video to see what I am missing out on.

What's wrong with me?

DH and I were so happy to get our proofs so we could see what happened on our wedding day. I don't remember most of it!

I remember all of it except for the Viennesse hour. We never saw that.

Some of the ceremony is a little hazy, but everything else about that day is crystal clear. Oh, except the after-party, but that is alcohol induced...

I actually remember most of it except for the ceremony. Some of it started out hazy, but it all came back to me after a few days.

I do not recall a lot of it too. I know the video has helped me a lot. I am told how nice the wedding was. I cannot wait to go to a wedding and be able to remember it and enjoy it!

I remember the day pretty well but it still seems like a blur of a day that went by so fast. That's why it was so great to have the raw footage of the video.

thats why i stress to everyone that is planning a wedding to have a video even if its just a friend taking one. i was lucky and thought i remebered alot but after seeing the unedited cut of my wedding i was shocked at so much i had not seen

I remember the ceremony, but the reception I just don't. Thank god i got a wedding video...i tell everyone to get one even if they don't think its worth the money..IT IS. There was so much on my uncut version that i did not remember (even when i am in the middle dancing) and so much more that i must of been off talkign to people when it happened. You don't need to show it to anyone, but its a keepsake for you and your husband and for you to remember what happened. Your brain is in overdrive with all the people you see and things you do so i find it pretty impossible to remember everything.

FYI - One of the funnest parts of my wedding i did not recall until two weeks later when my brother mentioned it to me. It then came back to me, but I had it all on video.

Same here...I remember the reception vaguely. We were pulled out a bunch of times to take pictures and on top of that, I felt like someone was always pulling me over..It's hard to interact with everyone and to catch all of the details it that short of time. My photos and video (unedited version) filled me in on a lot of what was going on while I was not around....

I was only married 9 days ago and I don't remember much and I wasn't drinking either. I can't wait for the proofs and video!!!

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one!
