Does anyone else share this paranoia?

So, the whole floaty empire waisty kinda shirt tunic thing is in for the last year or so. When I wear them, I am so obsessed that people are going to think its a maternity top though! I'm constantly like flattening out the front so that it is evident that I'm not hiding anything. Does anyone else share this psychosis??

yes. My sister is pregnant and i keep telling her to wear them b/c she's not showing yet and she's lucky they are so cute and stylish now.

I only have one top like that, and DH always calls it a pregnant top. So i only wear it when he's not around or i don't care. I've never gotten pregnant comments - I think my friends and fam know me too well and would never comment b/c i would drop kick them in the head.

YES!!! I like the style,, but hate that people suspect that then.

Whenever I sing at church I'm always liek... are people looking at my belly??? Its just the top. So then I like stretch and yawn so they can see my stomach is flat... I shoudl just NOT wear those shirts, but they are so comfortable!

I totally agree with this! I wear them anyway b/c they are so cute but I am always like rubbing my hand on my belly to push the shirt in so I don't look pregnant! LOL!

I agree too. I don't wear them, especially with a large chest, it looks ridiculous. I think they are adorable, but not for me.

i bought one shirt like that and dh asked if it was a maternity shirt. He said that everyone would think I was hiding something!

Yes, and when you have a large chest, it tends to not help it either. I love the empire waist tops and the peasant tops, but they are all so 'flowy' that they tend to make me look pregnant. I have been asked MANY times if I was pregnant while wearing those tops, but I keep wearing them b/c I love them so.
