Does anyone else's back hurt when they run?

I am curious because this is the 2nd day that I ram a good solid run at a good pace and my back is killing me! Am I not using correct posture?

One of two things coudl be happening

1. Your body is sore because you are using muscles you usually don;t use and it will take 3-4 days for your body to adjust

2. you have improper form (posture). Make sure you are holding yourself up when running and not slouching.

It might pass after a week or so after your body adjusts it happened to me in the beginning.. if not try advil bfr running or address the issue!

I used to want to vomit afterwards or sometimes I would get pain in my side pelvic.. drink lots of water it might help and take deep breaths during for the oxygen to get through your muscles. This is what my friends told me that are all personal trainers.

or maybe it is gas

Thanks girls! I know its not my sneakers because they are new-I have to wear the orthododic NB because of my stupid flat feet I am pretty sure it is not my posture because in self they did a whole thing a few months ago on proper form-broke down liek 5 runners. But I will keep an eye on it.

I think its more of what you suggested SummersB-Using muscles that ain't never been used before. I am constantly amazed at how many muscle groups running hits! My buttt hurts, my abs hurt, my back (an ache like you said Kath) and even my frickin outer ankle bones. Crazy stuff....geuss it means its working!
