act like theyre on their deathbed when they have a simple cold?? DH isnt feeling good and he keeps calling me from work trying to figure out what he should do. I swear its like the end of the world!

O geez, I have a 45 year old baby that takes to his bed with the first sniffle. We both got sick in January, first time that I ever had to take time off of work. I stayed home 3 days, he stayed home two weeks.
Now I know what his mother meant.

totally. i got home yesterday and it was like everything that he needed (medicine, glass of water, blanket, food heated up) he waited until i walked into the door to need it.....cause he was too sick to get any of it.

He's actually good about not whining but he is definetly more easily irritable when eh doesn't feel well. When i get angry with him I call him 'saint peter' because his level of patience is sickeningly high BUT when he is sick..its paper thin.

Two weeks ago I was visiting my parents and DH called just to tell me he was sick like 4 times. I get home and he is still complaining. He gets over the cold and I have it for like 2 days. My DH didn't even know I had it until I woke up and I said I am so glad my throat is feeling better.

Yup! He acts like he's dying when he has a cold. This morning DH hit snooze for an hour (mind you his alarm was set for 4:45--so I got really broken sleep) b/c he had a sore throat.

mine does with a cold but when he had appendicitis and could hardley move he took the kids to a movie and build a bear before the hospital I have yet to figure that one out

Mine is actually pretty good. He takes pain pretty well and doesn't whine unless he is really really hurting. So one less complaint here.

I have to give my DH credit on this one lol...no matter if hes 100% well or has the flu he just keeps on going! Tho hes prob. putting all his co workers in danger of catching something lol
