Does anyone elses in-laws or parents live out of state?

How did you handle them picking pictures for their album?

Frankie's mother lives in Fl. I have been scanning up a storm. I am probably 3/4 of the way done and I have had it! We were going to burn them on a disk and send them to her so she could pick for her album but I have had it!! I am bored and cannot stand me or us doing this anymore! Any other suggestions? She will not be coming up until next year and I don't know when if ever we will be going to Florida.

Re:'Does anyone elses in-laws or parents live out of state?'

My husband will pick out the pictures for his parents and I will pick out the pictures for my parents.

This is a gift to our parents so I don't think we need to have them choose the pictures.

This is why it took us 5 months to get the photos chosen for our albums! :o) We let both pick them in person on separate weekend visits.

Re: Re:'Does anyone elses in-laws or parents live out of state?'

I know not to give her too much but I know I will hear crap that she wasn't included if I don't scan EVERY picture. Because it will not be fair in her eyes that my mother got to see every picture and she didn't. UGH!

I would love for us to pick for her but nothing I ever do is good enough or right for her. I also don't know if I want the responsibility.

But if I don't then she may want to come visit again.

Re: Re:'Does anyone elses in-laws or parents live out of state?'

Swags you should even have told her that you got parent albums its not a requirement. I didnt say anything to my monster in law, this way when she gets the album, she wont be able to ***** about everything.

Good luck and god bless you. You are an angel to scan all the pics.

Re: Re:'Does anyone elses in-laws or parents live out of state?'

I know how you are feeling! We are in CA and my parents and in-laws are in NY and NJ. We had the proofs and decided forever for what we wanted, then I fed-exed the proofs to NJ for my in-laws and they were going to have dinner with my parents and then give the proofs to them. Summer is now coming to an end and they have not been able to meet for dinner so my father in law mailed the proofs to my parents in NY! So my mom has to pick her pictures and then will bring them to John Pagano! Maybe we'll have our albums for our 2 year anniversary! :-)
