For no reason at all? I have been having that weird- 'the world is going to fall on my head today' feeling both yesterday and today...for no real reason. Maybe I need to switch to decaf so I stop channeling frickin chicken Little.

I totally get what you mean. I usually get that feeling when I am PMSing or when I am doing something that I have never done before.

I think im stressed-my birthdays in januaruy and I guess though i still have 3 years for it, feeling the big 30 crunch in terms of Im still not doing what i want to be career wise, and then I want kids but wnat to be able to stay home and be stable so that won't happen till the career occurs...I think just general frustration. Trying to sign up for classes next semester and its busting my horns a little. Its math and Im NOT good at amth...>< I get straight A's till you get to the math column..so frsutrating because I can TEACH lil kid math (passed all those courses with flying colors) but they wont give my lisence until I pass frickin college algebra and statistics. WHO needs that, let alone an elementary school teacher?

Its DH's 30th today. I think the transition is hitting him a little. He's been more moody/stressed. Esp bc we're def not where we want to be, not in our own house, our finances, not being able to see his son all the time, etc. Makes it even harder for him bc in some ways, its like going back to square one and building it all up again when he already had all of that at one point. Its hard. And I try to be understanding as possible. Moving here last yr was a huge transition for him, for both of us. Long story. Ill stop rambling.
I hear ya tho Jenn..Im feeling some similar things. Regarding school and work and children. Im in my doctoral program and its finally starting to wear me down. I didnt take any break between bach and doctoral and all I hear about all day is psychological stuff. I know Ill do well once I can actually practice, thats fine. Its just the stresses of classes right now and knowing we want to start a family but cant feasibly do that now with my program, which i still have like 3-4 more yrs in, and we need to buy a home and ugh.Theres alot going on. its just a transition. Try not to get too overwhelmed either. somehow it all ends up working out perfectly, in His (the big guy's) timing.

Yea. My biggest issue is I dropped out of school my first year then idn't go back right away. And i always regret it because it was stupid crap that I would NEVER allow now- basically it was a sexual harassment thing my first year living on campus.
I was a sheltred kid, away from home first time.Basically a guy was urged by his equally jerk buddy to grab my *** and when he did and I reported it to my Reident Director, I was essentially told to let it go because their parents were alumni and powerful people who donated ALOT of money to the school. I was even told, get this, to not go through the main entrance, but through the BACK by the dumpsters!!(It was a reconverted mansion that they turned into a dorm in Pleasantville NY-Pace University) because it split at the top and I was on the west wing-they were on the east. but they would stand at the top of the staircase and shout profanities at me.
I wasn't the only one-I would see them yell at MY RA 'this girl needs to be $%&*#$' and NO ONE said anything to stop them. I couldn't understand it until I finally reported it to a teacher of mine who was head of the women's study dept, and she told me they each had 20 cases against them that were dropped before official charges could be pressed because the girls got scared.
I was going to press charges-they started seinding people to follow me to my dorm room to intimate me, slashes my friend's tires who drove me around...I started carrying a baseball bat with me to class when i got home late. I was a KID!!!! 18 years old, and 110 pounds. And no one would help me, not even campus security onec they learned who it was.
One of the guys worked in the caferteria and would spit on my food and do awful stuff-was like a movie. I started to fall apart-was afraid to tell my family. Finally a friend on the football team intervened and they left me alone for a little while, but then i started getting annymous pictures of their lower appendages plastered to my door as wallpaper and worse...
I was havign a tough year as it was so it resulted ina total nervous breakdown and I left school... I have always regretted that, especially now when i'd have nailed their asses to the WALL!!! NO ONE treats me that way. Not anymore.
But its set me back awful because then I only went back part-time and it was a few hard years before I met the DH and he helped me get back to school full time-two glasses to make up for my BA so Im frustrated because for NY you need your Masters too to teach...
Just trying to take it one day at a time and reciting the serenity prayer daily.
Aww your DH-That happened to pete too when he turned 330-he got very angry with em for even WISHING hima happy day. It will pass. its just the furustration of not beign where you want to be.

are you kidding me about those guys?? that is absolutely herendous. i just dont get it, how they could get away with all of that like they run the school. that had to be so scary. well, don t beat yourself up for the decision you made for your own protection at the time!!! how many ppl could deal with that for an extended period of time??? THEY were in the wrong. Very wrong. How sad and disgusting for them to live their lives like that....money and power mean nothing to God, let alone treating ppl like dirt! Good luck boys.

Re: Does anyone ever get paranoid?
yeah im a very paranoid person...not to the extent where i think people are talking about me or dislike me, but to the extent where i just get paranoid thinking my house i gunna burn down or someone is gunna break in & kill my dog....sht like that! lol
