does anyone find...

that since being married you are so much calmer and patient - which in turn makes you fight with DH so much less?

DH did something yesterday that normally i would have flipped on him about... but instead i sat him down, expressed my feelings about it calmly - and then let him express his, calmly, and - get this - i understood his POV and i wasn't mad anymore!

could it be that i am growing up??

haha...i found that once i got my engagement ring that happened!!! (it took 4.5 years to get it) We were in Hawaii where he proposed & DH did something stupid...he looked at me and waited for me to yell at him but i just started laughing...i held up my hand and joked 'Behold the power of the ring!!'...he joked back saying if he knew what it would do he would've given it to me years ago!

i was soooo the opposite! i was very good with my friends and family when we got engaged, because i was trying so hard not to be bridezilla, that i think we fought more because i knew i could take things out on him! thanksfully it's much better now that i'm not such a beyotch
