Does anyone find it hypocritical (Miss USA related)

Does anyone find it hypocritical (Miss USA related)

I just read an article that Carrie Prejean, the girl who cited she was against gay marriage for religious reasons, got breast implants paid for by the miss california organization 6 weeks before the competition. Do you find that hypocritical that she changed the body God gave her?

I find it hypocritical. Why does she pick and choose what to be religious about?

You'd think so...but I remember watching a special on I think E! about pagents and stuff--and one woman said a girl placed like 4th one year, and then the next year she came back with a whole NEW body (*wink wink*) and she won it all -- and she thought it was unfair that they could be surgically altered and if it gives them an unfair advantage.

And I need to know why they have a Miss America and Miss USA.
Last time I checked those were the same thing.

It is really unfair and hypocritical for someone to judge what other people do but wont expect to be judged herself

I read the post and thought the same thing. I though the girls were suppose to be 100% natural.

I honestly dont even believe her anymore. I think she is an opportunist. All these organizations are flocking to her, calling her Sarah Palin, and shes running with it. How better to stay on TV and in the public eye. Shes feeding off of it.

hahaha--shocking that a woman who walks around in a competition in a bikini could be a fame wh0re!

honestly, i don't see her getting very far in the public life as any type of official or politician or anything. her verbal skills are SERIOUSLY lacking and she doesn't seem to have the gift of being able to handle herself when the heat is turned up.

she'll probably have foot-in-mouth disease for many years to come.

I heard a radio commercial about this for a second and it said something to the effect of 'And talking about opposite sex, blah blah, btw, who did win the pagent?'

It's true though..does anyone know w/out looking it up?? b/c I have no freaking clue. Then again, I could care less so maybe that's why I don't know.

Well, on one hand EVERYONE picks and chooses how they follow their faith. Even the most devout people don't follow every single rule and regulation, its almost impossible - not even Jesus could it! ( literally! )

BUT if you are going to go around judging, I totally agree with you - worry about yourself first before you start worrying what other people are doing!
