My MIL works for the Police Dept and has a hook up in the Commack store. Let me know if you are willing to travel. I will get you the info.

AND PS: If you don't know anyone, do what DH and I did at Best Buy. Ask if they can do better on the price. I got a 1200 dollar stove for 500 bucks. (Floor model) and a floor model fridge that was 1100 for 400. I am telling you, it works to make a deal.

The problem is the TV we want is really new and amazon has it for $3750 but if we can get it for like $3500 we would buy it in an instant.

We have this television, we bought it when it first came out in May....it's AMAZING.
I'm pretty sure we paid $3700, it was more when we went to purchase at PC Richard in Astoria but we bundled with other items and they lowered the price.
It is AMAZING and worth every single penny. Hope you get what you need in terms of price....and ENJOY!!!!

I'm pretty sure that if you go in and work for $3500 you'll get it....I mean you HAVE to get the warranty and that's where they make their money....
it'll happen, DH will get his TV Report back once you do have it. SO exciting Though....this TV can be a blessing and a curse- video games with surround sound are insane....good luck getting him off the couch.

I have it too! I love it.
We bought a BUNCH of stuff when we moved into our house and PC Richards knocked money off everything else but this. This was in July but they said they can barely keep them in stock because they're such a hot model.
I wouldn't count on anyone being able to hook you up with a break on this...sorry!

Okay, spoke to MIL. HIs name is Mike and he works only in the clearance center. Chances are, he is probably not able to do anything on the new TV because he is strictly the clearance center guy.
However, she said the same thing I said, go there and tell them if they can give it to you for 3500, that you will buy it TODAY.
PC Richards does negotiate and it's seriously worth a shot.

I have been in that PC Richards (commack rd one) 3x over the past few days and let me tell you they are making deals. I just amazing deals on all of my appliances. I do have to say you have more leverage if you are buying more than 1 thing.
