what can one do with a teaching degree or masters in administration for building supervision? DH ABOSLUTLEY HAS TO get out of the school he is in. It is making him stressed, jaded and bitter.
Is there anything outside of the classroom or actual school building that one can do with those degrees?
I know it may seem like a stupid question...

www.higheredjobs.com
they list everything by state, so go on there...a lot of the jobs require a masters in an education/admin field, so it can work! HTH!

Re: Does anyone know
With his masters he may be able to work in the senior living industry. He may be able to start in an executive director position due to his experience with administration. However he may need to start at a different position to gain some experience in the field. Check out places like Atria Senior Living, Bristol, Sunrise many of the ED's have a background in admin. HTH!

Re: Does anyone know
he can stay in schools and just be an administrator. My mother had her masters in administration and was a math teacher then moved on to me the district chairperson of the math dept.
also he might be able to be an asst principal.

what has he been teaching. . I do professional development and training and there are a lot of jobs out there doing that. . bad news is you have to train some really grumpy teachers but you don't have to deal with administration in the same way. . FM me if you want and I can give you some more ideas. . .
