Does DH ever embarass you to the point you want to Slap Him!?!?
Seriously, please tell me that my DH is not the only VILLAGE !DIOT!!!!
Sometimes his mouth just makes me want to SLAP him!!!! For such a classy and great guy, I have no idea where these outbursts come from???? Is it him or do all guys just not think sometimes before they speak? Perfect examples of 3 separate incidents this past week where DH thought he was making a funny and completely embarrassed me:
1) Yesterday at FAMILY DINNER, DH was telling my family about some houses we looked at and how we could convert two smaller rooms upstairs into a baby room for when we have a baby. So my SIL says, 'oh don't say that in front of your MIL (my mom), she is dying for you to have a baby!' and DH bursts out.... 'haha I know, i'm surprised when we're having sex she's not behind me pushing!!!!'..........![]()
omg I literally almost crawled under the table.
2) At a friend's BBQ last weekend, a conversation about Adoption and Stepchildren came up. My friend says how she would definitely consider adoption due to having possible problems conceiving. So DH pipes out 'Us too! then we don't have to worry about beating the kid when he's bad, it's better than a red-headed stepchild!'......... My friend is not only adopted, but a red-head....![]()
Mind you, I have stepchildren of my own (DH's Own Kids!) so he legitimately was being 'FUNNY.' I wanted to fricken strangle his dumb @SS.
3) DH did an electrical job for our friend and told him that he didn't expect to be paid (which was really nice of him). So this past weekend, our GPS was stolen and his friend knows about it. Anyway, this morning, the friend left a check for him for $200 and DH was sort of annoyed because he did ALOT of work there and even though he didn't ask for money, he felt that was cheap (this other guy is loaded$$$$). So this morning the guy says, 'Hey Lou wanna buy a GPS cheap 200 bucks,' So DH says 'Wow. I did a job a couple weeks ago for this cheapskate and he only paid me 200 bucks, so that's perfect!'
