DH never takes it off. He was very happy with the way his ring turned out and he totally loves the way it looks on his hand. So, it's alway on!

My husbadn never wears his ring. Its like trying to get a kid to eat vegetables. The only time he will wear it is when we have a special occasion and I have to get it out of the box and pretty much hold him down to put it on. He acts like its the ring from Lord of the Rings. He's so silly that he calls it Precious, like that character from Lord of the Rings. The one that's all skinny and creepy.

Mine forgets it a lot. He's just not used to it at all. He has to take it off at night, too, because he says it annoys him and keeps him awake...

Al forgot a lot in the beginning. Al never wore jewelry and it definitely took some time to get used to the ring. He also used to play with it all the time. The only time I really minded was when we went to a wedding in germany a few months after ours, and he forgot it. He felt really bad.

For the last few months, he hasn't been able to wear it. He developed a cyst on his middle finger and the ring aggrevated the pain, so he's been wearing it on his right hand. He just had surgery to remove the cyst though, so as soon as thats healed, it will be back on his left.

I take my rings off at night. When we first got engaged I never took my e-ring off, but I've gotten over that. I don't like sleeping in them.

Roger wears his all the time now, he owns no jewelry and has never worn any. We both have a jewelry box on the dresser and we take them off as soon as we get home and put them back on when we are on the way out the door in the am.

He forgot a lot in the beginning, now it seems like he wears it all the time. One morning we were far away from home when he realized he had left his, and he asked if he could wear my band. I told him my finger would feel funny w/o my band and just my e-ring. I gave it to him anyway.

My DH does wear his, but never to work. with the field he is in he could get hurt wearing metal, so its on anytime other then that

Since 6/3/01, my DH has never taken his wedding band off.

DH's original wedding band had diamonds in it and for that reason he couldn't wear it to work, so he would just wear it on the weekends. For his birthday two weeks ago I bought him a plain band that he told me he wanted so he could wear it at work, but he took that off the other day and forgot to put it back on. I had to remind him.

Oh well, I love him anyway.

David wears his all the time too. He almost never leaves the house without it on. There are some things he won't do with it on like bike ride or play sports, but that's understandable. He also takes it off at night to sleep.

He works from home, so I think it's cute that he puts it on even when he's just sitting at home working. I usually take my rings off when I get home from work!

Kevin never takes his off- not for work, the gym or anything. He definetely was not used to it at first, like most of our DH's he never wore jewelry but now it is just a part of him. I never take my rings off either- except when I have to be sterile at work. Why do people take them off? I understand for yardwork etc, but to sleep or be at home, what's the reasons? just curious...

Well the reason I take my ring off to sleep its because I feel that I cant breathe, not thats its on tight or anything but i cant have nothing on not even a ponytail..I feel like im gonna die..(ITS MENTAL)!!! lol

he wears it all the time...but I catch him putting it in his mouth a lot...he makes an 'o' around it with his mouth and then sticks out his tongue...one of these days hes going to choke...


my father hasn't worn his ring in 40 years...he has a bad reaction to any metal on his skin...he can't even wear watches...

he forgot it once the first week we came back and he called me up all sad b/c he said he felt naked without it, this coming from a man who never wore jewlery and said that he didn't know if he was able to get used to wearing one.. he's soo cute though.. now he wears it to bed so he doesn't forget.. hehe my cutie.

My husband can't wear his ring at work.
They say it could get snagged on something and they would get hurt. He carries his on him in his pocket so he can wear it to and from.

My husband is a carpenter so he can't wear his to work. He actually hates to jewelry. But funny enough if he forgets to wear it on the weekends he gets annoyed with himself.

I actually forget to wear mine sometimes. (Like today)

My husband is a chef at a catering hall, so he's afraid it'll end up in someones food, or it'll fling off when he takes off his gloves...but...one night I went up to visit him, and we were walking down the hallway and he had his arm around me, and a few of the waitresses were snidely remarking...'Oh, he's married?' And I know what goes on in that business and I could feel the heat rising in my body. He pretended not to hear it. But I did, loud and clear, and to not show my insecurity, I just kept on walking. When he got home that night, I let him have it. I made more appearances, needless to say. I told him I was going to make him get a tattoo like Tommy Lee and Pam Anderson..lol. I mean, to the lowerclass of woman, the wedding band doesnt mean anything to them either way.

My DH works at a lab and at first he didn't wear the ring to work because he was afraid it would come off in a tank or loose it in a rubber glove. He also works out and was afraid to wear it to the gym. So he left it in the car, I found it and hid it and he was freaking out. I let him sweat it out for a day and told him, you didn't loose it. From then on, he hasn't taken it off. We both wear our rings all the time now.
