Ok here it goes again...my wedding was june 28th...it will be 4 weeks this saturday. Still no proofs online or in my hands. I FINALLY got in touch with someone and they just informed me that it takes 4-6 weeks and before our proofs are posted online i have to pay the remaining balance. Im starting to get really mad being that the guy made it sound like we would have proofs within a week or 2. Does this sound strange to anyone???

Hmm, we made them put in our contract that we'd have proofs within 3 weeks, although before we can HAVE them, we need to pay the remaning balance.

we didn't pay our final balance until we physically picked up our DVD of our proofs...
until you have something physical in your hands, i don't know that i'd be comfortable paying anything.

that doesn't sound too bad to me. I think our hard copy proofs took about 6 weeks and we paid our entire balance beforehand.

Ok then thats a complete relief. Thank you!!! He just told me to check online as soon as i came back from my honeymoon cause he knew i was going to be gone for 3 weeks. I just hope they are worth the wait. We interviewed 11 photographers and felt really comfy til about 2 weeks before the wedding.

i dont know about the timming i have heard girls wiat months, or in my situation i had them in hand as soon as we returned from our honeymoon, but we did have to pay the remining balance to get them online.
But for the record we didn't get our cd with pics for 8 months.
