Does you husband save clothes that don't fit in the hopes that

someday he'll loose weight and fit in them again?

I was laughing so hard...I thought only girls did this!

But this is insane...he a lot more clothes than me, but most of it doesn't fit...he's holding on to pants that he hasn't fit into in over 4 years! I think I'm going to slowly throw one pair away every other day.

He freaked out when I told him to let them go! He's said that he'll get into them again!

Yes! And then when he did lose weight, he went out and bought new clothes anyway!!

I dont care so much about him keeping clothing that doesnt fit b/c he fluxates a lot...but at least throw away the ugly stuff. And he has a LOT OF UGLY STUFF!!

Ive been with him for 8 years and he still has some stuff he bought before me. And it was ugly when I met him. Can you imagine how much uglier it is now?

He's running out of closet space (and believe me, he's got a lot of space)...because of all these clothes that don't fit.

Just go in there and throw a few things away a month. I bet he never even notices. hhahaa

I don't know why Roger keeps his, its definitely not to lose weight to fit in to them again, it must be to get shorter. He has been 145lbs since I met him and he is still the same, but he keeps these pants that are too short for him. So we gathered them all up and gave them to his brother. Why, do they hold on to these things???

Kathi, a piece a month he will never miss it. I guess me telling Roger I would help motivated him to clear them out. Some of these things were so outdated, I was like, do people even wear those things anymore???

YES!!!

My DH has a whole closet full of 'when I....' clothes! (He thus has a lot more clothes then me). And all he does every morning is complain he has nothing to wear!

It is nice to know he is not the only one!

YESSS!!!
Please my DH hangs on to close because his mom or sister gave them to him & he will NEVER wear them again(some are from like 10 years ago). I just secretly get rid them a few pieces at a time when I'm getting rid of my old clothes! He'll never know....

DH has been 6' tall and 135lbs. since I've known him (8 years), so he doesn't have this issue! hehe

Sometimes DH and I do save clothes that don't fit now but will later on when we're on a diet. If it's in good condition yes. However, if it's in bad condition no we don't save it in hopes that it would fit us again soon.
