Does your ring turn?

if you have diamonds just on one side of your band
this will usually happen because the diamonds are heavier and tend to go on the bottom

i got an eternity band for that reason

Yes see that is my band..i didn't go for eternity because i was too afraid i would bang it up, i am hard with my hands!

Have your jeweler flatten the bottom of your band just slightly and it will stop the turning.

yes they do, esp my wedding band, and they're tight on me (thanks to all my newlywed weight).

Re: Does your ring turn?

When we got my wedding band, I told the jewelry that my ering was always turning..and he said that if the ering and band turn, they usually turn in opposite directions. this is bad because they then rub up against each other and the diamonds will eventually become loose because of this.

His solution was to soder (sp?) my rings together. This way they don't rub each other..they do still turn sometimes..but at least I'm not worried about loosing my diamonds.

So, just be careful if they are turning alot..

I've gained weight and none of my clothes even fit me anymore its horrible bc I dont have much left to wear. Now when I get dressed it takes forever bc everything I put on just isn't fitting. I finally decided that i have to get back in shape so have lost some weight but still have more to go.

I do understand....even though I'd LOVE to be your size, I do understand that you aren't used to it so you are uncomfortable. I lost weight before the wedding but gained 10lbs on vacation and now my pants are tight and I HATE it.

the problem is nothing fitting me now which is frustrating. Theres very few things I have that still do fit. THe worst was last week I had an interview, i tried on 10 button down shirts and I wasn't able to button the top button on any of them, i finally gave up since they were all the same size. THANK GOD i had 1 button down shirt that i bought in a larger size that i never wore before. It just s*cked bc i was rushing to make sure i get there early and meanwhile i had to try on so many things. Even last month we had a black tie wedding to attend. I have gowns at home but they don't fit me anymore so had to go spend money just to buy a long gown that would fit me. Trust me that in the pics i have i am not that size anymore, i would love to be that size again too but i am not. The problem is when i gain even a little weight my chest gets bigger and i do NOT want this bc thats why clothes don't fit. For example all my button down shirts fit fine onmy body except my chest, none of my bras are fitting well, and i feel i get that double boob look.

10 pounds isn't bad, i am sure you can do it again. You lost it before and you can do it now. Just have to do what you did before the wedding and you will get get back down.

My wedding ring does all the time. My engagement ring doesn't so I put the e-ring on the outside.

They're called shots. I have two balls on the inside of my ering, on the palm side. They help stabilize the ring so it doesnt' rotate. My ering stays in place but my wedding band is really starting to annoy me. I think I'll have my band resized to a 4 since I won't be taking the band on or off as much as the ering.

My band is 1/2 diamonds too. Now I switched the rings. I wear my ering closest to my heart and the band on the outside. I know that it's not how I should be wearing it, but it helps.

Yep. It's annoying b/c a wedding band that's 1/2 diamonds and they're supposed to line up with the stones in my e-ring.

I have I had balls put into my e-ring b/c it was a little big. I'm considering doing it with my wedding band.
