Nope, sorry. But I've left all my pups home alone during the day and I just leave a pad out, which they've had no problem going on.

I don't have a dog walker either. I crate trained my dog. He remained in the crate while I was not home until he was 1 yr and he never had an accident in the crate or outside of the crate.

Our dog will be in the crate but he is going to be home alone for close to 13 hours. He can hold it for a long time and probably wouldn't have an accident but I just want him to get some exercise during the day and he gets fed 3x a day so if we don't get a walker then we have to change his eating schedule.

13 hours is too long to leave your dog in a crate. Our vet told us max. 8 hours and our dog is 2. I live on City Island so my recommendation is of no help! I will ask around and see if anyone I know can recommend someone near you- Petco has a referral service.
Doggie day care is another option...I am actually considering it for my dog.

Do you think maybe gating off a certain area, closing the door to a room or getitng him an exercise pen is better then a crate all day? I've read you shouldn't crate a dog for longer then 8 hours. I don't know your pups age, but if he is under 5-6 months, they can't hold their bladder for longer then a certain period of time, so he will most likely pee and poop in the crate which defeats the whole purpose of crate training him. I keep my puppy in my bedroom with the door closed, I pick up anything he can get into off the floor and I feel fine knowing he isn't confined to a tiny box all day long and has the whole room to play in. Also, like she said above, day care is another option.

Thanks. I don't want to leave him alone. Doggie daycare isn't an option cause DH and I will be leaving at 6am for work so all the places I have found don't open that early. That's why a walker will be the best solution.
I would leave him alone in a pinch but not for 5 days a week.
