Donating a Wedding Dress

Do any of you have information on good organizations for donating a wedding dress? I'd love to be able to give it to a woman who wouldn't be able to afford one of her own. Thanks if any of you have any info!!!

I think there's a store called Bridal Garden in NYC where you can donate your dress, but my sense is that it's more of an upscale consignment shop than perhaps the type of organization you'd like to donate to (although I have never been there). It's lovely of you to want to do this!
