Donna and Josh's New House !!

This is SO EXCITING!!!!! They had settlement this AM, then went to get their flooring at Lumber Liquidators; Josh's Mom stripped wallpaper today, and tonight the inlaws, Josh's Brothers, and my Husband were painting!!!! Haven't talked to Donna yet, but her MIL, told me they're replacing the kitchen appliances/sink with stainless steel, and replacing the countertops. My Husband will be putting down the new flooring. As soon as it's all done I WILL BE TAKING PICS TO SHARE!!!!

The elderly gal, who sold them the house, was crying at the settlement. Poor thing; She hated to give her house up, but had to. If you think of her, would you please pray for her to be blessed and comforted, in her transition? Thanks!!!! Mary MOB

Mary, this is wonderful news, & I know how hard it must have been for that elderly woman - but she can be at peace knowing that only love will be filling that home!!!!

Thank you, Laurie!!! Donna gave the gal a hug, and I know the pain that my own Mom is currently facing, going to a nursing home recently, so I will be praying for this sweet gal; She took excellent care of the house!!!! It is such a blessing, after renting for yrs. to finally have a house of their own!!! The new neighbor on the one side seems very nice!!! I can't wait to see everything!!!! I know that Josh and Donna had been watching HGTV, to get decorating ideas. They chose burgundy for the living room, gray for the dining room, lt. blue for the master bedroom, and a royal blue for Grandson's room, and lavender for the upstairs bathroom. I bought them some beeuuuutiful towels for the lavender bath tonight!!!! Mary MOB

Thanks, Angela and Gina!!!!! Well, moving day today!!! And it's a mess of course!!! Donna has her week cut out for her. Course, I was there to snap those moving day memories!! The one below is cat, Rusty, hiding in the basement in a carpet roll. Later, he was braver and came upstairs. Kita, their dog, was her happy 'ole self, and ready for adventure!!!!
