Don't know if I should be mad or worried...

I randomly called home before to ask if my mom would be able to look at the Smithaven Williams-Sonoma for the pastry scraper I'l looking for, since the Walt Whitman one by me now was out of stock, and I got the answering machine, so I figured she was vacuuming and didn't hear, since I know what her cleaning schedule is. So about 15 minutes later my dad calls back instead, since my message was just hello is anyone home? call me back...not specifically to her. He then tells me that they just got home from my mom's biopsy.

What???????

Apparently she wasn't planning on telling anyone, and I'm upset at that, but obviously worried as well. Most likely calcium deposits in her breast, since this has happened in the past, so probably just a precaution, but of course there's always the chance of it being something else. So I'm a little worried right now...any extra good vibes would be appreciated. She was a little annoyed at my dad for once again just shooting off his mouth, but still, I don't know if it was better to make a slip now, or God forbid it be something more tell us then.

Awwwww! My mom is the same way! When they thought she had lung cancer she didnt tell us until she found out the results. Thank got it was just an infection! I hope everything is ok with your mom!

Awww Ali ... they didn't tell you because they didn't want you to needlessly worry. My motto that I try very hard to live by is 'Don't worry until you have something to worry about.' I know it's crazy hard to abide by, but you have to try or you will drive yourself crazy.

Seriously, my mom did the same to me a few times and its jsut because they are so worried about themselves that they wont want anyone else to worry...

My aunt did the same thing she didnt tell anyone except her husband (my uncle) about it for 6 months (not even either of her 2 daughters knew) so she had already started chemo & was 1/2 way through it b4 anyone knew anything.

im sure everything is fine and they r so happy they have an amazing daughter who is so worried about them!!!!
