Hey everyone I have been married since Feb and been peeking at this board but never posted, but I have a questions for all you girls what did you do with your dress after the wedding? Mines been hanging in the closet and I want to do something with it but I don't know if its worth getting it cleaned and put in one of those boxes. Also does anyone know how much it costs to do that? Thanks!!!

Re: Dress Cleaning
I'm waiting to do a photo shoot in my apartment complex's gardens. The flowers have just starting coming up and the building is so stunning (plus it's our home). After that I'm going to get my dress cleaned and donate it to brides against breast cancer.
Right now it's sitting (filthy) in my parent's spare bedroom.

Re: Dress Cleaning
I dropped it off to the cleaners the day after - total cost $250. Still waiting to get it back. It will be boxed and waiting for whenever i get preggers and make some cute gowns out of it.

Re: Dress Cleaning
I used Wed Clean. They were really easy to communicate with and were very reasonable. Click Here! My dress is boxed up and in my attic. I plan to save it in case I have a daughter who may want to use it! I loved my dress!

Re: Dress Cleaning
I dorpped mine off for cleaning and preservation a few weeks ago.
Not sure what I will be doing with it yet, but for now, I'll keep it at my parent's house until we have a house and room of our own to keep it. I have though about chopping off the bottom of the train (around knee level) and use that material to make a Christening outfit from it, but haven't decided yet.

I was actually thinking the same thing about making a christening outfit out of it when I have a child cause realistically I don't think my child will ever wear it I know my mom still has heres and both her daughters are already married!
