I used wedclean, and I think it was around $200, maybe a little less. They did a great job. Don't feel bad if you haven't had your dress cleaned yet. I waited about 7 months to send my in

Re: dress preserving?
burton's did mine.
i got my dress from them but they will do the preserving for anyone so even if you didn't get your dress from them you can still use them. the price was right and they box it up SO nice -- the front of the box is clear so you can see the bodice of the dress - i loved it!

Re: dress preserving?
My grandma kept hers balled up in a pillow case from the mid 40's till I decided to use it for my wedding. It didn't discolor or anything. Im going to put it back in that pillow case since it seemed to have worked this long!

That says so much - honestly its like spent how much on preservation and i really think i would of been better off just cleaning it and storing it myself.

REALLY? wow! i wanted to wear my grandmothers/mothers dress (it was the same one) so it would be 3 generations but it was so discolored and tattered from being untreated i couldnt wear it
that's awesome though! keep that pillow case around!
