driving myself nuts

driving myself nuts

I am having more trouble picking things for my Dad's surprise 60th than I did for the wedding.

I want to pick the venue soon... I narrowed it down to Koenings and Belmont. Here's the positives and negatives of each:

Belmont:
Pos- My Dad LOVES the track, We get a private room with our own betting machines, tellers, televisions, programs, There's a private patio with chairs that overlooks the track, We can have a race named after him and bring him down to the winner's circle
Neg- They only do the parties in the late afternoon until early evening at the latest. I was hoping for a 6-10 deal so that he could have a little bit of time betting but more time partying--he had sooo much fun dancing and partying at our wedding, When he goes to the track, he wants to bet. I feel like he might be bothered by doing all of his paperwork the night before for gambling and then not really getting to gamble at all.

Koenings:
Pos-Tons of food and the price is about $30 less per person than Belmont
Neg-It doesn't have the cool features that Belmont does

I would say go with Koenings...it's cheaper, he'll appreciate it to much, and you've asked about Koenings before (in comparison to the SC)!!

i said Koenings too ... because he shouldn't be preoccupied with betting at his party ... and also because of the price difference
