I know you had calla. Could you post pics of bouquets and centerpieces. I am doing the same in July. Thanks

Re: Dubliner: Calla Lillies
Yes I did have calla's but unfortunatley our photographer did not take one picture of a centerpiece. but I have one from a disposable camera at home - I'll post it tonight
Everyone loved the calla's - and they looked very simple and elegant

Here are the BK - this is the best shot I have. The photographer did not take one, so I cropped one he did take
and the centerpieces - this is from a disposable camera

Re: Dubliner: Calla Lillies
Hi Dubliner, Everything looks beautiful. Could I ask how many lillies were in everything (Bouquts and tables). I am going with Stefan's but I need to know what to ask for. What kind of vase is the centerpieces? Thanks for sharing

Re: Dubliner: Calla Lillies
The centerpieces had 13 calla lillies each I think - we contracted 11, but the day before he told us the shipment was in good shape, and he didn't lose any, so he was increasing the nuimber per vase.
The vases were 24' glass vases, which when we contracted he tolds us we had to return, and when he delivered them, he told the hall we could keep them. I was too scared he made a mistake with the hall and insisted that they be kept to return. When I spoke to him a few days later, he told me we could have kept them, and I told him the hall had them and he said - OK I'll go get them, and the next time you need a nice flower arrangement for the house, he'll make it for us.
I honestly have absolutely no idea how many flowers were in each bk - mine was in 2 pieces, and wrapped together as one - I gave one to each mother at the end. I found the BK to be very thick around the stems where I held it. It looks great in teh pictures, so I guess thats all that counts. He also did a calla lille & fern simple thing for our table - I'll post a picture
Also, do you have a program basket? Mine was decorated in ribbon & calla lillies (fake) I know I should keep it, but I really have nowhere to put it.

Re: Dubliner: Calla Lillies
The latest verison of PS costs about $600.
Its great but expensive and complicated - only necessary for people who spend a good deal of time doing design.
If you want something more basic, go with Photoshop Elements (about $85). Unless you plan on being a graphic designer, you dont need anything more than that.
Keep in mind that PS will not turn a bad photo into a good one...but it can save an ok photo and make a good photo into a great one, etc..
